My wall is more than 4-9/16". Do you offer jamb extensions?
Yes. Jamb extensions are available in 2" increments. You can find jamb extensions in the "Accessories" link located at the bottom of each page of window units.
Can I get interior trim for my Fixhome window?
Yes. Interior casing is available for octagon, round, and oval windows located in the "Accessories" link of each window unit page or at the bottom of each window ordering page.
What kinds of trim are available for my window?
Octagon: 2-1/4" oak or pine pre-mitered colonial profile casing (Other species available upon request)
Round & Oval: 2-1/4" moulded polyurethane 1 piece colonial casing
Can I turn my venting octagon window so that the hinge is at the top and the window opens like an awning?
Fixhome does not recommend that venting windows be installed with the hinge at the top. The units have been engineered to operate like a casement window with the hinge on the side. Right and Left hand hinge units are available.
Installing Fixhome.com products inconsistent with manufacturer's recommendations will invalidate the warranty.
After I place my order how long will it take to arrive?
Normal production time for windows and custom window grille inserts is 1-2 weeks. This does not include transit time. Normal transit time is based on destination FOB Minneapolis, MN. Please allow 3-5 business days from date of shipping for delivery.
Can I have my order shipped to a different address?
Yes. When you have added all items to your shopping cart and are ready to checkout, you will be asked to fill out a form for both billing your credit card and where you want your orders shipped. They do not need to be the same.
If you want different items shipped to different locations you will need to place separate order for each address.
Can I have grilles between glass in my window?
Yes. We offer an upgrade for grille between glass in the octagon accessories section. We can also provide custom vinyl internal grilles for octagon, round, and oval windows by request. Contact your Fixhome.com customer service representative at info@fixhome.com for more information.
Do you make custom size venting octagon windows?
No. We can only manufacture standard size wood or standard size poly and elongated poly venting octagons.
