Warranty & Return Policy
NOTE: When installing any of FixHome.com's products it is mandatory that the manufacturer's installation instructions are followed or all warranties will be null and void.
Warranty:
All products of Fixhome.com are guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from date of invoicing. Insulated glass is warranted for seal failure for a period of five (5) years from date of invoice. This Warranty is expressly limited to Fixhome.com products sold exclusively by Fixhome.com.
Notice of defects in manufacturing or workmanship must be provided in writing to Fixhome.com immediately with pictures showing issues of defect. If a Fixhome.com product is delivered with damage that occurs from the result of transit, please notify Fixhome.com immediately with pictures showing damage. After evaluating the damage Fixhome.com will determine the cause and will replace the damaged goods at no charge if the damage is the result of a defect or transit damage excluding shipping charges. If the defective or damaged product is no longer available Fixhome.com will, at its sole discretion, replace the product with a similar product, or refund the original purchase price excluding shipping and handling charges.
This Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of products, which have defects in manufacturing or workmanship or items damaged in transit. It does not extend to costs of labor for installation, removal, or refinishing of such products. Fixhome.com will not be responsible for any damages caused by mishandling. This Warranty does not include any consequential damages. All implied warranties are expressly disclaimed.
Return Policy:
If you should wish to return product(s) for replacement or credit you must do so within 14 days of receipt. You must make your request to Fixhome.com in writing and you will receive a Return Authorization Form. Complete the Return Authorization Form and return it to Fixhome.com.
Note: a 25% restocking charge plus shipping charges will be assessed for each item returned for credit.
Order Cancellation Policy:
Once an order has been placed and you wish to cancel the order a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refunded amount provided the product has not shipped. If the product has shipped prior to receiving your request to cancel you will need to follow the return policy stated below. All requests to cancel an order must be in writing or email form. Orders that require labor to produce, such as custom window grilles, may be cancelled however the cost of the amount of materials and labor completed up to the point of receiving the cancellation request will be deducted at a pro-rated amount including the standard 15% cancellation fee.
Return Procedure:
- Make one copy of the Return Authorization Form for each box you will be returning, and enclose it in an envelope to be placed in the box with the item.
- Pack product(s) being returned in its original carton and retain for carrier pick up.
- Upon receipt of the Return Authorization Form Fixhome.com will issue a UPS Call Tag.
- Packages will be picked-up by UPS at the location specified on the Return Form.
- Make note of the tracking number supplied by UPS for proof of return shipment.
- After the item is received a credit will be issued less the 25% restocking charge and freight.
To allow us to issue credit on a timely basis, please be sure to you attach a copy of the Return Authorization form to the returned product.
Only products and the quantities listed on the Return Authorization Form may be returned.
Extra quantities or unauthorized items will not be accepted.
